The Charter...Peter will meet you at the dock of your lodge (see Accommodations) in Salmon West’s new 22 foot covered fishing boat designed specifically for West Coast fishing. The boat can comfortably seat 2 anglers, which means lots of one-on-one time with your fishing guide. Take advantage of your fishing trip to learn more about BC salmon fishing from one of the best or just enjoy yourself swapping “fish stories” about the ones that got away while you troll for the really big ones in some of the richest salmon fishing waters in the world.
The boat is fully equipped with GPS, VHF radios, electric down-riggers, top quality fishing gear and all required safety equipment. Wet weather gear is available and lunch is provided on full day charters. We supply everything you need including cleaning and packaging of your catch for transport home.

who has fished the waters of the Stuart / Sonora / Dent Island area for 20 years. He has guided anglers from all over the world to the Canadian fishing experience of their lives.
Peter is easy-going and patient and is as comfortable with high-intensity anglers as he is with low key fishing families.
He knows the current hot spots for salmon and can always find the best beach picnic spot around; both vital components for a well rounded fishing vacation!
Accommodations...
You'll find a great range of accommodations available in the area for all kinds of anglers- from corporate groups, here for meetings or client entertainment, to a weekend with the guys. Try a small, secluded, upscale lodge that features moorage and fine dining, such as Dent Island Lodge, or go for Cordero Lodge, a more rustic fishing camp complete with a European ambiance and home-made German fare.

Marine wildlife and seabirds are plentiful here and a fishing trip to this part of Canada is a feast for all the senses; especially when you sit down to a sumptuous meal of fresh barbequed salmon at the end of your fishing day!
